"Supporting Teachers in a Challenging Environment".

A major Education Conference for teachers and members of Boards of Management took place on Saturday 10th of October for schools from Carlow and Killenny. The Conference, organised by Kilkenny Education Centre was entitled, Supporting the Teacher in a Challenging Environment. Over 100 teachers were in attendance.

The Minister for Education and Science, Batt O’Keeffe TD Visit to Kilkenny Education Centre

The Minister for Education and Science, Batt O’Keeffe TD, visited Kilkenny Education Centre on the 5th of March and praised the work of the centre. Founded in 1997 to provide in-service training for teachers, the Education Centre was granted full time status in 2002. Read more...

Reading Recovery is an early intervention designed to reduce literacy problems in any education system.
