Presenter: Tom Duggan, Principal, St. Brendan's National School, Newmarket, Hugginstown, Co. Kilkenny.

eTwinning is a framework for schools to collaborate on the Internet with partner schools in other European countries.
eTwinning is the main action of the European Union's eLearning programme.

It promotes school collaboration in Europe through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by providing support, tools and services to make it easy for schools to form short or long term partnerships in any subject area.

Local school St Brendans Newmarket are involved with 14 other European Schools in the Carolling in Europe Project. St Brendans have recently been awarded the eTwinning Quality label.

It is easy for a school to get involved: Register online, find a partner school, register your project. There are many registered schools looking for partners. More details
