Information on the Kilkenny Education Centre Library

Within the fully catalogued, multimedia collection members have access to over 1000 items including books, periodicals, reports, CD Rom software (for evaluation only), video/audio cassettes, and learning support materials.

The holdings reflect the changing needs and experiences of educational practitioners from pre-school to third-level and, while covering elements of curricula at all stages, there are extended holdings, within the collection, covering:

• Learning Support
• Planning/Management
• CSPE
• Pastoral Care and ICT

Annual membership (Jan/Jan) is open to all teachers and educational professionals. Members are entitled to borrow 4 items for up to two weeks. Some software is available for evaluation purposes and is subject to the relevant licensing agreements.

The current annual membership fee is €10 and is payable on use of the library.
