Irish Sentence Builders Online Workshop for Primary and Post Primary Schools

This workshop, suitable for Primary and Post Primary teachers, aims to;

• Compare and contrast the main elements in creating a Sentence Builder,
• Identify and apply features of Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint to help in creating units of learning, and
• Design a model Sentence Builder and a unit of Learning based on a literature topic.

Aoife de Buitléir and Órla de Buitléir

Aoife and Órla de Buitléir are the co-authors of the newly-launched Irish book Irish Sentence Builders - A Lexicogrammar Approach: Beginner to Pre-Intermediate (Independently published, May 2021), based on the EPI/ MARS EARS teaching methodology. Both Aoife and Órla are Undergraduate and Masters graduates of the National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG), with a decade of teaching experience in Connemara.
