This in-person Anti-Bias Anti-Racism (ABAR) workshop empowers primary and post-primary teachers to cultivate an inclusive, anti-racist classroom and school culture. Through empathy, self-reflection, and critical inquiry, participants will explore their own biases and consider how prejudice can shape both everyday interactions and wider school practices. By examining the historical roots of racism and its ongoing impact on society and education, teachers will gain deeper insight into how to create equitable and supportive learning environments. The session will provide practical tools and strategies to help educators build schools where diversity is valued, inclusion is intentional, and both interpersonal and structural bias are actively addressed.
