Museum Based Inquiry: Learning Through Visual Art and Art-Making
On this course, participants will learn to practically apply activities that involve all of the senses and support different learning styles simultaneously. It will uses an educational approach developed in the world’s leading art museums to engage with visual art in a museum setting. Course content includes; educational theories and methodologies and practical activity-based encounters with Irish modern and contemporary art and art-making activities for the classroom. All of this will take place in the amazing new Butler Gallery, Kilkenny.
