Safer Internet Day Webinar: Resources and Activities for Primary Schools

Safer Internet Day is an annual event that promotes safe and responsible use of the internet and digital technologies. This year, Safer Internet Day will take place on Tuesday, February 10th, and we are delighted to offer a dedicated webinar to support your school’s engagement with this important initiative.

This year’s theme: AI Aware: Safe, Smart, and in Control The theme encourages pupils to build critical thinking and digital literacy skills to navigate AI-generated content, recognise bias, safeguard privacy, and make informed online decisions.

During the webinar, we will:

· Explore practical ways for school communities to take part in Safer Internet Day.

· Showcase resources available to teachers and pupils, including new materials for senior primary classes.

· Highlight national and school-level policies that support safer internet use.
