Education in the Midst of Global Crises: How to bring Active Hope into the Classroom

How do we help young people to engage consciously and creatively with what’s unfolding in the world around us without shutting down or burning out? This webinar will introduce participants to the Joanna Macy’s approach to Active Hope and the Work that Reconnects. It introduces the 4 stages of the spiral of Active Hope and how practices for each stage can be adapted for different age groups from primary to secondary students with lots of case examples. We will also share resources about facilitating Active Hope practices in classrooms.
