Meet Dr Lorraine d’Arcy, an engineer at Technological University Dublin, who will show how simple changes to our streets can make daily life safer, healthier, and more enjoyable.
Lorraine will talk about:
- What makes a neighbourhood healthy and fun to live in.
- How the design of streets and paths can change how safe, active, and connected people feel.
- Examples of simple changes, like benches, cycle lanes, and safe crossings — that make life better for everyone.
You can ask our speakers any questions you have about what they do in their jobs! They'll only be too happy to explain : )
