Age range: 6-16 years

Identify where intervention may be needed in reading then monitor impact and progress made.

Identify strengths, highlight areas for improvement and track progress over time.

New Non-Reading Intelligence Tests 1 – 3 (NNRIT)

Age range: 6-14 years

The NNRIT tests assess aspects of language and thinking that are not necessarily represented in measures of pupil attainments and help to pinpoint low-achieving and slow-reading pupils who may have high underlying ability. Oral administration allows poor readers to do themselves full justice.

Age range: 8–14 years

Understand and assess the abilities of pupils who think more easily in images than words.
This assessment does not involve reading or aural comprehension, and can therefore be used to measure the potential of pupils who have limited literacy skills or children with English as an Additional Language
