School Placement Focus Groups for Post Primary Treoraithe (Host Teachers)

We would like your input on the role and supports needed for Treoraithe in supporting student teachers on school placements in your schools.

What are the Focus Groups About?

• Schools play a very important role in the training of student teachers. The role of the Treoraí is key in guiding and supporting the student teacher during their placement experience.
• We are hosting a series of focus groups with HEIs, student teachers, newly qualified teachers, principals/deputy principals and you the Treoraí.
• The information from these focus groups will help inform policy on the role of the Treoraí in School Placement and the partnership approach between all involved.
• No inputs will be individually attributed.

*Please note only one representative per school is permitted - limited to 15 per session on a first come basis. Light Refreshments available on arrival.*
