Picker Pals
Picker Pals is a programme where young children take litter-picking equipment home from school on a rotating basis in order to lead their families on litter-picking adventures around their local area. They then report back to their classmates about what they found and the pack is then handed over to a new child each week. This cycle continues throughout the entire year, meaning it becomes normal for the children to think and talk about their own role in looking after the environment. We also back that up with monthly environmental lessons online, digital content and competitions.
